A-Rod
Madonna Romance
Rumors Denied by
Singer
Neither Madonna nor
Yankees star A-Rod
(Alex Rodriguez) are
any strangers to
controversy...nor
are they strangers
to each other,
according to an
OK! Magazine report.,
which has hinted at
a possible A-Rod
Madonna romance.
Amid rumors that
her marriage to
hubby Guy Ritchie is
on the rocks, OK!
has learned that the
Material Girl has
been spending a lot
of time with the
married A-Rod,
finding solace in
the handsome third
baseman as her
marriage to the
British director
fizzles.
Madonna yesterday
strongly denied
reports that she and
Yankees superstar
Alex Rodriguez have
been cozying up
at the unhappily
married Material
Mom's Upper West
Side pad.
But even as the
aging pop star and
free-swinging
slugger cried foul
over reports of
clandestine
canoodling, a source
told Us Weekly that
A-Rod visited
Madonna's Central
Park West digs the
night after his
long-suffering wife,
Cynthia, gave birth
in April to their
second daughter.
A-Rod reportedly has
been taking an
interest in kabbalah,
the Jewish mystical
practice popularized
by Madonna.
A-Rod made headlines
last year for his
reported "rendez
vous" with a blonde
stripper named
Joslyn Morse,
prompting Red Sox
fans to don blonde
babe masks during a
game in Boston.
Many speculated as
to whether A-Rod's
wife - Cynthia
Rodriguez - would
ultimately leave
him. The local
news media stood
guard outside the
couple's New York
apartment 24/7
watching Cynthia's
every move.
......The Boston Red
Sox and Chicago Cubs
remain the favorites
to win the 2008
World Series
according to
bookmakers at
SBG Global.
Presently, a $100
bet would pay out
$300 if the Red Sox
were to go on and
win the World
Series. The
Cubs would pay out
$400 for every $100
bet. The Los
Angeles Angels would
pay out $700 and
both the Yankees and
Philadelphia
Phillies would pay
out $900 for every
$100 bet. The
red hot Tampa Bay
Rays promised a
$1200 pay day for
every $100 bet.
It's the Rays that
have the best record
in the league at
51-32, just ahead of
Boston's 50 wins on
the season thus far.
And it's that other
Chicago team - The
White Sox - that
have the hottest
streak right now.
The White Sox (listed
at +1200 odds at SBG
Global for a
potential $1200
payout with every
$100 bet)
have won 6 straight
and hold a record of
48-35.
