The Orioles have owned this series of late, winning eight of the last ten. Keep in mind that the last nine games between these two clubs have taken place in Baltimore.  The Orioles have also won six of their last ten games overall while the Yankees have split wins and losses in their last ten overall.

The Orioles are 3-8 in the last 11 meetings in New York.

The Yankees Ivan Nova and Nathan Eovaldi have both struggled against Baltimore’s current roster.

Nova, the probable starter on Monday, has allowed 70 hits on 232 at bats with 15 home runs.  He is coming off a win against the Indians his last start but allowed five hits in six innings his last time facing Baltimore in early June.  Nova has also allowed four or more runs in seven of his last ten starts.

Kevin Gausman has a poor record to date (1-6, 4.15) but the UNDER is 8-2 in his last ten starts.  With a 9.5 total in Game One, it’s a tough process to bet the OVER.
