Estrada made his grand debut of the season versus the Red Sox.

The righty put up a 3.13 ERA and 131/55 K/BB ratio over 181 innings for Toronto last season.  He was priced around $8900 this week.

Estrada appears to be motivated when facing competitive clubs, at least this is what the trends suggest. The Blue Jays are 13-5 in Estradas last 18 starts vs. a team with a winning record.

For gamblers, the UNDER is 5-0-1 in Estrada's last 6 starts overall and 8-2 in Red Sox last 10 home games.

David Ortiz and Jackie Bradley Jr have both homered off of Estrada with Ortiz going 3-for-9 against him coming in Sunday's matchup.  Dustin Pedroia, who went .600 with 2 RBIs against Boston Saturday, was .375 vs. Estrada.

There have been periods over the last two seasons in which Estrada’s home run allowance rate exceeded 2.46 per nine innings, so we were calling for the OVER 7.5 in this game.  There were 14 hits but just 3 runs, taking this one UNDER. And the good news for Estrada, he walked off with the win as Boston remained scoreless.
