Yankees odds to win 2009 World Seriies

Don't look now but the New York Yankees have just won 8 straight.  The annual early favorites to win the World Series currently have tremendous value to win in 2009 with odds that would pay out $500 for every $100 bet at SBG Global.  The Yankees are now only 2 ½ games behind division leading Toronto and 1 game behind Boston.

The Yankees hit three consecutive home runs for the first time since June 21, 2005. All three were hit to right, increasing the total to 44 hit to right at the new Yankee Stadium this season. One of them was by Nick Swisher, who hit his first home run at home (eight on road).

Through 19 games, there have been 71 home runs hit at the new Yankee Stadium (37 by the Yankees, 34 by opponents).

"It's been a great run for us," Swisher said. "I think having fun creates winning."

Nearly four hours before the game, the Yankees held a Kangaroo Court, something veteran Andy Pettitte said the team hadn't done since 1995, when Wade Boggs was the sitting judge.

Mariano Rivera was on the bench this time, with Jeter, Burnett and Johnny Damon on the jury.

In a fun ritual that's common practice for many teams -- though not the buttoned-up Yankees -- players are razzed and fined by teammates for all sorts of small transgressions from arriving late to wearing an ugly outfit.

"I took an absolute beating," Alex Rodriguez said, before leaving the clubhouse with his young daughter in his arms. "I think I just barely survived."

Here were all your odds to win the 2009 World Series courtesy of the fine folks at SBG Global, now in business for well over 10 years and offering some of the best free cash bonuses around today.

Tanner Bibee Player Prop Bets: Hits Allowed

Bibee was promoted to the major leagues at the start of last season and made a lot of noise in doing so.  In his debut versus the Colorado Rockies, Bibee became the first Cleveland pitcher ever to record at least five consecutive strikeouts in a Major League debut.
