When we think of Dallas area bookies getting their asses handed to them of late, it’s mostly been all about the Cowboys, a team that not only finished the 2016 regular season 13-3 Straight Up, they also went 10-6 Against The Spread.

These days there’s been a new thorn in the side of Dallas area bookies…. That would be the SMU College Basketball team.

At an astonishing 18-4 Straight Up, SMU is also 12-4-1 Against The Spread thus far this season.  They are 8-1 in conference play as well.

SMU's depth is completely depleted and without Jarry Foster, thus there ability to continue covering the spread in upcoming games remains in doubt.

Shake Milton scored 19 points, Semi Ojeleye added 14, and SMU beat UCF 65-60 on Wednesday night to win its fourth straight nonetheless.

“I was just feeling it, and feeling the crowd’s energy,” Milton said following the win. “It was just a combination of everything.”

“We’re just a team full of versatile guys,”  he added.

The use of a Pay Per Head service would have helped reduce losses through the offering of live in-play betting, numerous proposition and future betting options as well as the option of adding an online casino.

A Pay Per Head runs all aspect of the bookie business with the exception of handling financial transactions.  They charge a small weekly fee per customer (per head), often starting around $10.  In the long run, bookies and agents alike save money while minimizing the headaches involved in running such a business entirely on their own.
