Detroit Pistons Daily Fantasy Value, Betting Report – Feb 19: Andre Drummond

The Detroit Pistons daily fantasy value and betting report as we enter into the second half of the 2015 NBA season is examined by Gambling911.com, the official sponsor of the first ever Daily Fantasy Sports Expo in Miami Beach.  This is just one of the many new additions to the Gambling911.com site to compliment the second half of the season that we hope will make you a winner whether you’re betting on games or playing daily fantasy NBA.

The Pistons come into the 2nd half of the seaon with a 21-33 Straight Up record.  They lost six of their last ten games but covered the spread in six of those

Detroit has a rough five days ahead with two games against the Wizards and games at home versus Chicago and Cleveland.  Fortunately the Knicks are also on the schedule.  They went 1-4 against during these last five meetings with the Knicks being the only victory.

Here are your projected salaries and target fantasy points to make value (vary between sites):

K. Caldwell (SG) $4K – 24 fantasy points

K. Singler (SF) $3.1K – 18 fantasy points

D. Augustin (PG) $6.2K – 30 fantasy points

G. Monroe (PF) $8.4K – 34 fantasy points

A. Drummond (C)$7.8K – 31 fantasy points

Greg Monroe – In recent weeks he has been averaging around 36 fantasy points per game.  You’ll definitely want to have him on your roster against teams that have troubles against power forwards. One such team, believe it or not, is Charlotte, for whom he just faced prior to the All Star Break.  And indeed he scored around 45 fantasy points versus the Hornets.

The next five matchups will not be against teams that have necessarily had a tough time against power forwards but of course the Knicks have trouble versus just about every position on any given night.  Still, Monroe failed to make value the last time he faced New York.

How about those Wizards?  He’ll go up against them twice.  He just barely made value vs. Washington upon facing them earlier in the season so he’s certainly an option to consider here.

Monroe didn’t make value versus Chicago the last time he faced them.  And forget Cleveland.

It’s interesting to note that as good as Monroe has been leading up to the All Star Break played under his average against those teams he will face over the next five.

He’s an option versus the Wizards and Knicks, but not a very strong one.

Chicago – Hold

Washington – Neutral/Go

Cleveland – Hold

New York – Neutral/Go

Washington – Neutral/Go

Andre Drummond – He was averaging around 37 fantasy points prior to the All Star Break.

But versus the upcoming four teams: Washington he was disastrous in his last meeting and Drummond will face them twice.  Chicago same thing.

Alas, versus Cleveland and New York, Drummond made well over his value the last time he faced those two teams.

With the Knicks he made value with rebounds and assists alone.  Then throw in the 7 points, 3 steals and 1 block.

Against Cleveland he had 12 points, 17 rebounds and 6 blocks.  That’s well over 40 fantasy points.

Chicago – Hold

Washington – Hold

Cleveland – Strong Go

New York – Strong Go

Washington – Hold

D. Augustin – He had been averaging over 30 fantasy points before the All Star Break. But against the upcoming five teams Augustin will face off against, he failed to make value in any of those recent meetings with the exception of Cleveland (but just barely).
