Memphis had great payout odds to win the 2015 NBA Championship.  The value is similar to that with what we see when the price hasn’t quite caught up to an emerging NBA player with Fantasy sports.  22/1 or $2200 paid out on a $100 bet.

The Grizzlies were 28-11 after starting the season 15-2.  They have won 7 of their last 10 games.  They have covered the spread in six of those.  Memphis is only a .500 team Against The Spread.

The Griz have one of the hottest Fantasy players of any team right now in Beno Udrih, priced as low as $3000He was on everyone’s wish list at the time this was going to press but with one important caveat.  Starting point guard Mike Conley would need to sit out another night to make Udrih enough of a worthwhile play, a result of likely increased minutes.  Conley was questionable for Saturday night’s game against Portland and, one can look at this status as another opportunity for Udrih to light up the court assuming Conley’s not at 100 percent regardless of whether he plays or not.

Zach Randolph ($7400) – He has scored 35, 43, 50 and 29 fantasy points in his last four games.  The price is right but will keep going up so now is the time to jump all over the Randolph gravy train.

Marc Gasol ($8300) – He’s been a good pick much of the season.  Scoring 50 Fantasy points January 16 was a perfect illustration of what we are talking about.

Courtney Lee ($3900) – Lee is playing some solid basketball right now and the price is fantastic.  A well-rounded performance Wednesday was followed up by 16 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist and a steal on Friday.

Tony Allen ($4000) – January 17 play had him facing an average Portland team versus shooting guards.  Allen lit it up the other night against Orlando.  Provided he gets the minutes, look for Allen to have decent value over the next few games should the price not go much over the $5000 mark.
