Minnesota T-Wolves Fantasy Value, Betting Odds – Feb 28: Andrew Wiggins Watch

Sports bettors and daily fantasy sports enthusiasts alike may want to get all over the Minnesota T-Wolves as they are playing some decent basketball of late.   Winners of half their last ten games Straight Up and six of ten Against The Spread, these T-Wolves could prove formidable in the weeks to come.

Minnesota was set to face a Memphis team that they have alternated wins and losses with over the past six games.  The home team has won the last four in this series.  Minnesota has also covered the spread in the last three of the series and come into this game as a +6 home underdog.

The Grizzlies are not the easiest team to go up against on the daily fantasy front but Saturday’s matchup provides some degree of value.

Below are the salaries for each of the T-Wolves starters as of February 28 along with the fantasy points needed to make value.

Kevin Martin (SG) $6.6K – 30 fantasy points

Andrew Wiggins (SF) $6.7K – 30 fantasy points

Ricky Rubio (PG) $7.3K – 32 fantasy points

Nikola Pekovic (C)$6K – 29 fantasy points

Kevin Garnett (PF) $3.3K – 19 fantasy points

All but Kevin Garnett have been averaging 30 fantasy points since the All Star Break.  Even Garnett made value the other night against the Wizards, needing only 19 fantasy points.

Rubio and Wiggins previously made value against the Griz.

Looking ahead, Minnesota has favorable matchups against the LA Clippers (twice) and Denver.

The Nuggets are having trouble with virtually all positions right now.  LA has real difficulty containing small forwards.

This is where Andrew Wiggins comes into play.

You can add him to your roster Saturday but Wiggins presents a good choice against the Clippers.  Even though he didn’t quite reach 20 fantasy points the last time facing LA, his recent performance suggests he’ll be able to make value, especially with the Clippers only winning half of their last ten games overall.

Against Denver the craziness should kick in though.  Wiggins scored 31 points against the Nuggets when his team last faced them on the road.  He also had 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocks, all of which amounted to a 50-plus fantasy night.

Tuesday night was likely Klay Thompson's last game as a Golden State Warrior.  Next stop?  Orlando, assuming the oddsmakers are correct.
