The various teams have their loyal followers even when times are tough.  But when things are good, the “capture” potential becomes even greater.

After each week of NFL play, Gambling911.com hones in on key markets where a team stands the best chance of winning their respective division (at least during this current period).

“The first team that grabbed our attention after Week 3 play was Kansas City,” states Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor and Marketing Director for the Gambling911.com website.  “Here’s a team that has always enjoyed a loyal fan base but fell on bad times in recent years.  Now they stand at 3-0 team.  To suggest the Chiefs are one of the NFL’s biggest surprises early on in the new season would be somewhat of an understatement.”

As expected, because of Gambling911.com’s high search ranking for the term “Kansas City Chiefs”, inquiries leading to the website were quite good.

Most of the searches comprised the basics “Kansas City Chiefs” and “Chiefs”

“These are more than likely diehard fans of the Chiefs,” explains O’Brien.  “We figure a better than 5 percent will consider placing a bet on their team, sensing perhaps that Kansas City can go all the way and win the division at current odds of 2/1, especially with the 2 game cushion.  Also there is a fear that odds will be slashed further.”

Kansas City opened closer to 10/1 odds of winning the AFC West division.

“The more lucrative search terms and those that are likely to convert for our sponsors at better than 10 percent are those that feature “Kansas City” or “Chiefs” coupled with such terms as “Spread” or “Odds”.

This particular article, which got picked up in search after midnight and was not given “main feature” status on the home page, had already received close to 100 reads by Noon on Wednesday.

With a conservative estimate of 200 reads over a 24 hour exposure period in search and a 5 percent conversion rate, the Gambling911.com laboratory has determined that a minimum of 10 customers should be generated for its promoted sponsor within this article, that being BetUS.com.
