The 2016 Bahamas Bowl betting odds for a showdown between Eastern Michigan and Old Dominion Friday had Old Dominion as a -4 point favorite.

About the Bahamas Bowl

This bowl game is played in Nassau, Bahamas at the 15,000-seat Thomas Robinson Stadium on December 24 and has tie-ins to Conference USA and MAC.  It is the first postseason FBS bowl game played outside of the US or Canada between two U.S. teams since the January 1, 1937 Bacardi Bowl in Havana, Cuba.  This will be the third year of the Bahamas Bowl.

Eastern Michigan vs. Old Dominion Betting Trends

Old Dominion has won the last two games in this series the past two years though last year the margin of victory was by the current spread.

Both teams have performed quite well Against The Spread with Eastern Michigan 9-3 and Old Dominion 8-3-1.

The Eagles are 6-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

As a favorite, Old Dominion is 8-0 Against The Spread this season.

While East Michigan has improved over the last three seasons against non-conference teams, they are an abysmal 21-40 since 1992.
