Breaking News (4:20 am EST) - Minnesota Vikings Adrian Peterson has once again been deactivated following pressure brought on from child abuse accusations in Texas.  This news was breaking during the early morning hours Wednesday.  Fantasy Football players were burnt for a second week as a result.

The Vikings had re-activated Peterson on Monday.  The star running back was among the top Fantasy picks for 2014 and he was expected to play this coming weekend.

The Vikings have placed star running back Adrian Peterson on the NFL's exempt/commissioner's permission list until his legal case is resolved. The Vikings have reversed course from their Monday press conference, essentially barring Peterson from all team activities until his child abuse case is resolved or, in other words, indefinitely.

From FantasyPros.com:

This is a huge blow to all Peterson owners, since his trial for child abuse charges would not start until 2015 at the earliest. Effectively Peterson is suspended for the year. A huge blow since most owners spent a top 5 pick on Peterson. If for some reason Matt Asiata or Jerick McKinnon are available in your league, pick them up now. Scour the waiver wire, trade for a replacement, basically do whatever you can to find another RB since it doesn't look good for Peterson to return in 2014.

Sports bettors were also given the opportunity to wager on Minnesota winning the tight NFC North at 10-1 odds at Bookmaker.eu Monday.

Bookmaker was also briefly offering odds on whether Peterson would play in 2014 prior to the franchise's Monday morning announcement that the running back would be permitted to play.

It seems like every day there's a fresh rumor contradicting the prior day's rumor that Aiyuk is/isn't going to be traded.
