Cincinnati U vs. Oregon State Odds

Cincinnati U vs. Oregon State odds were listed at anywhere from Oregon State -1  at betED.com to Cincinnati U -1 at BetUS.com

Most of the betting action was coming in on Cincinnati, right around 90 percent to be more precise.

This was among the top 5 most bet College Football games as of Friday morning.

One likely reason that Cincinnati U was getting all the action:  They clobbered Oregon State their last meeting by a score of 34-3 in Cincinnati and with the Bearcats a +3 home underdog no less.

There is one slight problem for Cincinnati backers.  Oregon State has a record of 14 wins and 1 loss outright in home games against non-conference teams since 1992.  Their ATS record doesn't really apply here since Oregon State is essentially coming in with even odds. They've won 26 straight non-conference home games since a 35-14 loss to Montana on Sept. 7, 1996.

The Beavers are 40-19-1 ATS in their last 60 home games.

The Beavers are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. win.

Both teams come into this matchup with 2-0 records.

Make no mistake about it, the Beavers have their work cut out for them.

Only one point separates Cincinnati (2-0) from top-ranked Florida as the country's highest-scoring team, 118-117. The Bearcats' 99-point margin of victory isn't quite as good as the Gators' 109, but Cincinnati has defeated Big East foe Rutgers whereas Florida only beat Sun Belt team Troy and Football Championship Subdivision opponent Charleston Southern.

Cincinnati might have the highest-powered under-the-radar offense in the nation. The Bearcats have scored 117 points in their first two games. They'll face their first test when they visit Oregon State, which has allowed 28 points in two games.

Cincinnati may be good, but we are loving Oregon State here to win as a +1 home underdog at BetUS.com.
