The Falcons dismantled Tampa Bay on Sunday in what was pretty much a meaningless game.  The Falcons set a team record with 42 first-half points.

The Falcons (10-6) and Detroit (10-6) are the NFC wild cards. Atlanta, which beat Detroit on Oct. 23, won the tiebreaker with the Lions for the more favorable seeding.

The Giants played their 100th career meeting against Dallas Sunday night in what was perhaps the most meaningful game of Week 17.  It was “do or die” for both teams and New York ended up the winner.

Eli Manning threw three touchdown passes, including a momentum-grabbing 74-yarder to Cruz early, and the Giants claimed the final spot in the NFL playoffs, beating the Cowboys 31-14 on Sunday night to win the NFC East.

"I knew we were going to fight and keep playing until the end, I feel good about the way we're handling the ups and downs, and it comes down to finishing," Manning said after throwing for 346 yards and no interceptions.
