Ryan Tannehill Fantasy Outlook Week 13: Dolphins vs. Jets Betting Odds

When it comes to Daily Fantasy Sports, Miami starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill is being highly touted to reel in the points against a Jets team that has one of the worst pass defenses in the league.  The Dolphins vs. Jets betting odds had New York as a +7 home underdog and, if the fantasy matchups are any indication, that may just be a very low number.

No defense in football has allowed more touchdown tosses than the 27 given up by the Jets.  And here we have a quarterback in Tannehill that has completed over 70 percent of his passes in six of his last eight games.  He’s thrown 16 touchdowns over that period.

85% of those betting this game were backing New York here and this one opened at Miami -4.5, which provides us some early indication of what the oddsmakers are thinking here as they try desperately to get more action on the Jets without crossing over that dreaded number 7.

The total on this game was set at 41.5.  Only one of the past seven games in this series has gone OVER that number.  But that could all change this week with Tannehill’s success of late.  The Jets allowed 38 points last week and 43 point three games prior to division rival Buffalo.  The least number of points they allowed during their eight game slide was 24.  On average they permitted 30 points per game over that time period.
