Hand Grenade Thrown at Home of Intralot CEO

This past weekend marked an uptick in crime aimed at the gambling sector.  First, a brazen robbery took place during an international poker tournament in Berlin on Saturday (most of which was caught by film crews).  Then on Sunday morning it was revealed that a hand grenade had been thrown at the Athens, Greece home of Constantinos Antonopoulos, CEO of the betting services provider Intralot.

According to reports on the Internet, the grenade detonated in the front yard of the house and forensic experts were said to have found fragments of a mobile phone in the remains of the hand grenade. There was no major damage and there were no injuries reported. The assailants remain unidentified.
