Ted Loh

Another popular figure in the world of online gambling has passed away.  Ted Loh (pictured left), known in the sports betting side of the industry as Spearmaster from his days moderating the posting forum site TheRx.com (then ThePrescription.com) died Wednesday from a long battle with cancer.  He leaves behind a wife and three school aged children.

In later years, Loh, a native of Thailand, was better known for his work in the world of online casinos and had been instrumental in the promotion of the Tila Tequila Internet gambling venture.  His own website was Got2Bet.com.  Loh was highly regarded in the industry.

His passing comes at a time when the industry is still mourning the deaths of two other popular figures:  Alan Leonard and Lou Fabiano.

This past spring, Loh’s former employer and original founder of theRx.com, Kenneth Weitnzer, committed suicide along with his wife.
