Much of our time spent at Sigma2017 in Malta was with Swedish born Alexander Stevendahl, a one time operator of a wildly popular poker oriented site crazyrakeback.se, who would go on to build VideoSlots.com, a site that has received mostly favorable reviews since its launch.  His expo area was among the most popular at this year’s event, featuring an endless supply of mojitos.

Stevendahl’s baby face was plastered all over the cover page of Sigma’s magazine that was available throughout the expo hall.

Stevendahl has also founded the “Battle of Slots”, a tournament model for which players go up against one another by playing video slots.

The PKR Poker Assets Acquisition

Perhaps Stevendahl’s biggest feat to date was acquiring the technological assets of defunct PKR Poker, including its 3D games.

Thirsty.  Alex planned on having enough mojitos for his bar to last two days.  They were done by
1 pm.  But he had backup

Speaking to SBC News last month, Stevendahl relayed: “We have simply purchased the PKR technology in order to launch our own 3D product. The PKR brand is not owned by us and we have no access to its customer databases. “However, we really enjoyed what PKR offered the poker community during its time in operation, and we know many others did too; they will be warmly welcomed to our new platform when its launched.”

With any acquisition there are risks, and PKR is far from an exception to that rule.

“The technology is proven and scalable, which takes much of this risk out of the equation. We now have to ensure we shape the final 3D product as best we can. In a sense, the passion is what drives us and our ‘by the players, for the players’ mentality, has worked in a casino and we believe will be successful in poker as well.”

Rewards, Rewards, Rewards

Videoslots.com was nominated in four categories at the International Gaming Awards in London this past year. Stevendahl’s company was nominated in the Great Place to Work categories, Innovator, Slots Operator and Socially Responsible Operator. Ultimately, Videoslots was called as winner of the Best Slots Operator class.

Alex and his crew receive reward at ceremony

From AskGamblers.com: “Top notch in all areas - cashback, free spins, free battle tickets, huge selection of games, prompt withdrawals, good customer service and free cash back in the casino race.”

“I play at so many online casinos but VS is my nr.1 'everyday casino'. Their reward system is nice, their site navigation is excellent, choice of games is (almost) perfect, cashouts are almost instant and I never had any single issue with them.”

“I like to no hassle bonus from the profit of the week. They will give you back 25pourcent of their benefit and you can use this money to play od withdraw in your bank account. Let say you are a big player and spend a little too much more and pour yourself in problem, than you can cash back this money to take care of real problem in like food and your family. This help a lot if you play stupid, so you can keep provide your family.”

Of the negative reviews, players expressed concerns about overzealous moderators, up to four days first big win verification process before receipt of funds, and, well, too many games from which to choose from.

Another negative from someone who did give VideoSlots.com four stars: “Once you add games to favourites screen you cannot remove them. Any card you use to deposit and that means pre pay vanilla master cards you have to take pictures of and send them in as proof they are yours. Never had to do this at any other site and after loading them I just throw them away because the are useless so now I have to write an affidavit about the pre pay cards I loaded.”

VideoSlots.com responded that they were working on this matter.

From RightCasino.com: “This casino website should provide plenty of quality entertainment to fans of slot gaming. The user-experience at VideoSlots Casino is second to none (as long as you’re happy to play in-browser) and we appreciate the website’s commitment to fair play.

“For safe, slot-heavy casino entertainment, this brand is worthy of your time and money.

“VideoSlots utilises a huge selection of software providers to bolster their game catalogue, although the majority of its games are powered by Microgaming.”

From The Pogg: “Overall VideoSlots casino have a positive reputation within the player community and we could find no unresolved player issues.

“VideoSlots casino has a good reputation amongst players and their management team have been very open and receptive to communication.

“VideoSlots casino have a strong product, a good selection of games and have shown a real focus on offering the best product for players. They represent one of the best operations on the market today.”
