Fifteen women arrested last month for running brothels and Korean message parlors in the Dallas, Texas area were members of a multimillion-dollar prostitution ring, according to court documents.  Funds derived from these establishments were laundered through WinStar World Casino in Oklahoma as well as casinos in Louisiana.

Sun Im Mount, a 52-year-old from Plano, is the owner of the two properties that the government is in the process of seizing.  Mount and her 50-year-old husband, a local radiologist, are alleged to have collected cash from the prostitution ring then engaged in the casino money laundering.

Homeland Security Investigations, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Dallas Police Department have been involved in the investigation since March 2015.

From the Dallas Morning News:

Authorities received information from a sex worker at Dallas Doll House in July 2015 that allowed them to tap the brothel's phone and record all numbers that called in. Over the following months, investigators monitored Mount's movement as she traveled to brothels in northwest Dallas and to WinStar casino. From December 2015 to July 2016, Mount paid more than 100 visits to various brothels associated with the prostitution ring, authorities say.  During roughly the same period, she visited WinStar casino at least 33 times. On one occasion, she lost $148,000 in one sitting at a gambling table, the lawsuit says.

The suit claims WinStar casino investigators believe Mount and one of her associates, Su Jin Choi, laundered more than $3.3 million through the casino over a few months.

The suit also alleges that sex workers have identified Mount as responsible for delivering condoms to the brothels and picking up money.

The Dallas Morning News also reports that during a routine traffic stop back in February, a Texas state trooper discovered a zip-close bag with around $8,500 and numerous condoms Mount had been seen carrying into brothels on different occasions. Customs and Border Protection officers also found $20,000 in her and her husband's backpack on a Korean Air Flight on March 19.
