Frankel Odds The Queen Elizabeth II Stakes

One can expect to bet on Frankel as the odds-on favorite at The Queen Elizabeth II Stakes 2011 following his Sussex Stakes win this past week.  Odds will be posted as soon as they become available.

125x125 £

His next race is expected to be in October at either the one mile £1million Queen Elizabeth II Stakes or the £1.3m Qipco Champion Stakes, both of which will take place on the same day.

Sir Henry Cecil confirmed the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes as the chosen race for Frankel.

The 2000 Guineas and Royal Ascot winner stretched his unbeaten record to eight following this week’s win.

Cecil wants his prized horse to race in the Ascot next even though he holds an entry in the Juddmonte International over York's 10 furlongs on August 17.

"I was thrilled and he seems fine afterwards. I'm looking forward to the next time he runs," Cecil told Channel 4 Racing.

"He'll have one more race and he'll have a rest.

"If he's well, he'll run in the Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot and then the idea, all going well, is that he'll stay in training next year.

"Then he can go for the Juddmonte and things like that.

"You've seen him four times already (this year) and hopefully if we don't abuse him, you'll see a lot of him next year."
