Irish Derby Odds 2011

It’s that time again, the Irish Derby odds for 2011 have been released with the race going off on Sunday.  Let’s see which horses are favored to win.

While Queen Elizabeth II’s Carlton House is favored to win the Irish Derby 2011 at near even odds, Treasure Beach is a tight contender at 5/2 odds.

Aidan O’Brien will be looking for his sixth consecutive win and ninth overall in the Irish Derby should Treasure Beach pull off the minor upset.

"We knew there had to be something special about this horse, but when he stepped off that plane, it is hard to describe but there was an aura about him.

"His size and scope, he's all quality. He has an unbelievable presence. He's a different thoroughbred to what we have seen before in this part of the world."

There are nine contenders in this year’s Irish Derby sponsored by Dubai Duty Free.

All bets should be placed a few hours prior to post time.
