Nyquist has won the 2016 Kentucky Derby.  He was listed with 3-1 odds to win the minutes before post time and was the odds-on favorite.

He is unbeaten and eight for eight with this Derby win.

Exaggerator, the second choice, finished second by about a length followed by Gun Runner, with Mohaymen taking fourth.

Nyquist paid $6.60, $4.80, $3.60 for a $2 bet in becoming the eighth unbeaten horse ever to triumph in the Run for the Roses.
