Three entrants essentially were favorites to win the 2016 Breeders Cup Turf with odds between 2-1 and 3-1.  Flinshire and Found were each listed at 2-1 odds with Flintshire the slight technical favorite.  Highland Reel was coming in at 3-1 odds.  PLACE YOUR BREEDERS CUP CLASSIC BETS HERE AND GET 8 PERCENT BACK WIN OR LOSE

Money Multiplier was being touted as presenting the possible upset in the 2016 Breeders Cup Turf.  Considering he’s at 20-1 odds, that’s a good bet.

Dan Tordjiman of America’s Best Racing writes of Money Multiplier: “My value play for the Turf will be the horse who finished second to Flintshire in the Grade 1 Sword Dancer at Saratoga, Money Multiplier. It took a little while for this horse to get going but he’s put together a remarkably consistent — albeit under the radar — campaign this year. He too was compromised by the surface and pace of the Joe Hirsch, but aside from that race he hasn’t finished worse than second in five starts this year (including three Grade 1 races).

“What I like most about Money Multiplier was how he overcame significant trip trouble in the Sword Dancer, and kicked on to finish within two lengths of Flintshire. Money Multiplier was forced to take up into the final turn, and getting stopped in his tracks may have cost him a handful of lengths. There’s no telling whether he would’ve caught Flintshire with a smoother trip (he probably wouldn’t have, and Flintshire overcame trip issues of his own in the race), but he may have made things more interesting.”
