Twinspired Odds to Win Kentucky Derby

Twinspired odds to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby were at 32/1 or +3200 at Bookmaker.com

He has something great going for him in that his number 10 post position has won more Derbys than any other in the Run for the Roses glorious history.  That’s the good news.  The bad news is he has faced mostly two-tier opponents in his recent stellar performance and his ability to run on dirt remains questionable.

Still, there are few horses in the 2011 Kentucky Derby with Twinspired’s experience and momentum.

Brad Free of the Daily Racing Form:

Few runners in the Kentucky Derby will be as seasoned as Grade 1-placed Twinspired, whose eight starts – seven on synthetic or turf – include six route races. Twinspired has a tremendous foundation of racing. He won twice; his most recent start April 16 was his best. As the distances have increased, Twinspired has improved. Furthermore, his runner-up finish in the Blue Grass was outstanding considering he raced against the shape of the race. Twinspired pressed the pace from third, opened up in the lane, and then missed by a nose.
