State of Honor had the longest odds to win this year’s Kentucky Derby and therefore will offer the biggest payout should it happen: $630 for every $10 bet.
State of Honor finished 2nd in four of his last five races and 3rd in the fifth of those races, making him an excellent pick to finish among the top three at this year’s Kentucky Derby, paying $163 on a $10 bet.
Many experts believe the mile and a quarter will be too much for State of Honor to bare but, based on his previous performances, he simply cannot be overlooked in some type of betting prop.
