NASCAR Betting – GoBowling 235 Odds

Well, it’s going to be an interesting time for NASCAR this Sunday. A new race and a new track await drivers when they head south to Florida for the inaugural GoBowling 235. The Daytona International Speedway is the setting, but not the famed 2.5-mile oval. Nope, for the first time drivers will attack the 3.57-mile road course with no practice or qualifying. That means the first laps drivers will take on this track is when the green flag drops.

Hand it to NASCAR for the exotic sponsors and fancy race titles. It’s back to mid-week racing in the Cup Series with Wednesday’s Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 500 from the short track at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia. After jumpstarting the season with five races in 15 days, drivers had an entire week off between the last two events. The extra time helped Kevin Harvick, who registered his second victory since the reboot taking the checkered flag at Sunday’s QuikTrip 500, joining Brad Keselowski, Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano as two-time winners this season.

Following the quick trip around Bristol, the NASCAR Cup Series is off to Atlanta Motor Speedway for this week’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. For the first time since NASCAR resumed racing there was a break in between races. The first five events took place within a span of 15 days. That wasn’t the case leading up to Sunday. Back in March teams were headed to Georgia for what was originally the fifth race on the 2020 schedule. Everything was put on hold due to the COVID-19 shutdown.
