Sabathia comes into Friday's game against the Rays priced at $7100.  Current Tampa Bay batters have hit 45 of 159 at bats, making him the coldest of the scheduled starters this day.  Eight home runs and 20 RBIs were recorded over this time.

While DFS players should steer clear of Sabathia, by all means hone in on hitters that have performed well against him or have the potential to do so.

The Rays stack up eight RH bats against a pitcher who has allowed a .366 wOBA to RHBs since last season, Rotogrinders.com notes.  We would advise staying away from Brandon Guyer, however, as he is just 1-for-12 against Sabathia.

Logan Forsythe and Evan Longoria should be considered.

ARCHIVES

Sabathia went just 4.73 ERA last season before checking himself into alcohol rehab.

Sabathia (1-0) gave up four hits, three earned runs and four walks while striking out three over six innings in last Saturday's 8-4 victory over the Tigers.

He will face a Mariners team in which he has won 11 of his last 12 starts.  Priced at just $7100, he’s a steal for DFS players despite the opposition putting forth ace Felix Hernandez.
