Saturday evening the legendary poker pro Doyle Brunson was asked on his heavily followed Twitter page what he thought of fellow poker pro Chris Ferguson.  The Texas Dolly’s response might be surprising to some people.

I think Chris is a good guy and has done nice things for people that nobody talks about. I wish him well.

Ferguson was accused of taking part in an elaborate ponzi scheme in 2011 tied to the now defunct Full Tilt Poker.  While most customers were ultimately paid in full, for many it took up to three years.

Ferguson has yet to comment on that matter.  He continues to perform especially well at this year’s World Series of Poker.
