There’s something magical about the number 11 for Brunson 10 pro poker player Chris Moorman. The DoylesRoom pro started 2011 with the capture of his 11th Triple Crown. The PocketFives.com Triple Crown is awarded to an online poker player who wins three separate poker tournaments on three different online poker sites over a one-week period. His first win occurred on January 11th.

Moorman kicked off his Triple Crown quest by taking down a major $50k Guarantee for $15,000 on January 11th. Just seven days later, he took the titles of a $50 Re-buy tournament and a $60,000 Guarantee to add another $32,000 to his earnings.

With over $5.4 million in live tournament and online poker winnings, Chris Moorman is one of online poker’s most consistent winners. With a record that few other online legends can match, Moorman has found his way to the top of several online poker tournament rankings over the last several years.

Online poker fans hoping to witness a 12th Triple Crown may have to wait until February. This weekend, Moorman will be vying for the 2011 Aussie Millions title. The Main Event starts January 23, 2011 at Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia and Moorman is expected to go deep.
