Poker Pro Vanessa Rousso Becomes Head of ‘Big Brother’ Household: Opts Out of WS

While most poker pros are participating in this week’s World Series of Poker Main Event, Vanessa Rousso, a former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, is appearing in that experiment known as “Big Brother”.

She’s among the front runners to win and was just nominated Head of the Household.

Both she and professional wrestler Austin Matelson were said to have been up all night developing strategies as they will have an all-important say as to who will be evicted in the coming week.

FlushDraw had this to say about Rousso’s decision to take part in “Big Brother”:

Sacrificing the 2015 World Series of Poker for a chance to win $500,000 and have her life broadcast on television and over the internet 24/7, Rousso told “Big Brother” interviewer Jeff Schroeder that she couldn’t turn down the once in a lifetime opportunity; she can play poker the rest of her life, but this is the one time she will get to be on this show, so she wanted to run with it.

In an ironic twist, the second person to be evicted from this season’s “Big Brother” household was none other than poker dealer Da’Vonne Rogers. – Nagesh Rath, Gambling911.com
