Michigan Getting Tight in Polls, Betting Markets

The polls were getting tighter in the state of Michigan as both campaigns for US President were scrambling to win over that state’s voters.  Betting markets had Michigan up 5 points on average as of Monday afternoon.  Polls were showing a similar gap heading into Tuesday’s Election.  Michigan does not have early voting.

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s numbers have come down dramatically over the past two weeks from a 12 point lead versus GOP nominee Donald Trump.

US President Barack Obama was campaigning for Clinton in Ann Arbor, Michigan Monday afternoon.
