Blake Frazier of BetOnline.ag had this to offer regarding Friday evening’s Ducks vs. Golden Bears matchup, which sees Oregon as a hefty -18 road dog:

“The Oregon Ducks have rebounded nicely since their upset loss to the Arizona Wildcats as they're now 6-1 with a two-game winning streak on the line. The California Golden Bears shouldn't threaten their near perfect record, but they did compete with the UCLA Bruins last Saturday and have an offense that averages 41 points per game, 10th most in the country. Oregon's defense should be able to give them trouble throughout the night, but 18 points is a rather large spread to cover against an offensive-minded squad, making the California Golden Bears my sports betting pick.”

Frazier will be on California here.  Keep in mind that Oregon has been better than a 30 point favorite against California over the past two seasons, including one road game in 2011.

The top five-ranked Rebels take on LSU Saturday at 7:15 pm ET as a -3.5 road favorite.

“The Ole Miss Rebels have secured themselves as a top five team and will now take on the under performing LSU Tigers. LSU is coming off a convincing win over the Kentucky Wildcats, but they struggled to beat a 3-3 Florida Gators squad just two weeks ago which is somewhat concerning given their lack of recent success. LSU should have no problem running the ball as they average 220 yards on the ground per game, but the Ole Miss defense ranks first in the country in points allowed, which is 25 less than their offense averages per contest.”

His pick on this game is Ole Miss -3.5.

Other College Football picks from the BetOnline expert handicapper included Alabama covering the -17 points against Tennessee and Michigan State doing the same vs. Michigan, also a -17 point favorite.

“The Alabama Crimson Tide may not be ranked as the number one team in the country, but they played like it last week when they beat the Texas A&M Aggies 59-0,” Frazier noted.

He also suggests that MSU may very well be one of the most underrated teams in the nation right now.

Their schedule doesn't match-up to that of some of the premier SEC teams, but their offense ranks third in the country in scoring and their ground attack, which is rarely talked about, is averaging 260 yards of offense per game. Quarterback Connor Cook is having a good but not spectacular season, and the Spartans as a whole will simply be too much for the Michigan Wolverines, a squad that's 3-4 and on a sharp downturn.”
