Free Baseball Pick August 8 as Gambling911.com Now on 12-2 Run

Gambling911.com is attempting to continue its hot streak Thursday with more free Baseball picks as we are currently on an unprecedented 12-2 run.  As always you can view our picks in the new Sports Handicapping section or the Baseball section for full season picks.

Today we have a limited slate of games.

Gambling911.com will be on the OVER 8.5 in the Cubs/Phillies afternoon game.

The last time Jeff Samardzija played Philadelphia he got torched and walked away with an ERA of 18.92 and a WHIP of 2.402.

He is 6-10, with a 3.78 ERA this season.  Samardzija has won back-to-back starts only once.  He has lost three of his last four decisions and is 0-1 in his last three starts.

Ethan Martin only last 4.5 innings in his debut start, allowing 6 runs.

4 of the last 5 games in this series have gone OVER the current 8.5 total.  Some books have this one at 9.

The trend seems likely to continue here.  While Chicago only scored a total of 6 runs in a four game series against LA a few days back, they have managed to score 13 runs in just two games against Philadelphia the past two days.

Two sorry teams we will be betting on ONLY because of the total and we believe the pitching should be weak enough to get this one OVER 8.5.
