The 2009 Super Bowl odds showed that approximately 85 percent of online sportsbooks had the Steelers as -7 favorites.  15 percent offered a line of Steelers -6 ½.

BetUS.com and  Bookmaker.com were two of the books offering the -6 ½ line as of Wednesday afternoon.

"This is important to note because a touchdown win by the Steelers would result in a win for gamblers as opposed to a push where nobody gets paid," says Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

The -6 ½ line was becoming a rare commodity however and aside from BetUS.com and Bookmaker.com, very few other books were offering it.

In Las Vegas, the Hilton was one of the few books offering this line at -6 ½, and that only occurred yesterday.

BetUS.com only briefly offered a line of Steelers -7 on the 19th as did Bookmaker.com.

Gambling911.com does not expect either books to maintain the -6 ½ line much longer, and hence the reason we suggest locking the bet in now at that number.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
