The Auburn Tigers vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs betting odds were pretty much set at Auburn -10 as the away favorite pretty much across the board. The line has only moved a half point up to -10 ½ at some locations since opening. The odds on this game really have remained unchanged though.

Auburn at press time Saturday mid afternoon was getting 85 percent of the action.

Unless something off the wall happens, Auburn should be able to cover easily. Gambling911.com believes this line could have been set as high as -20. And while no odds makers in their right mind would actually post that line, there is quite a cushion between what we perceive as the "reality" verses the -10 line that was posted.

The Auburn Tigers come off a win over Southern Miss, with the offense finding some rhythm and scoring points. This game will have the Tigers' attention after being upset last season.

Mississippi State has two capable wide receivers in Brandon McRae and Aubrey Bell. Auburn has more targets to throw to and better playmakers, points out Tiger Histalmos of the BleacherReport.com.

"This should be a good game, with Auburn having slight edges in several departments. In addition to the stats and players, Auburn will be playing with a chip on their shoulders and revenge on their minds."

Mississippi State also has given up nine sacks in the last two games. Auburn has only given up two sacks.

Auburn is traditionally one of the most bet on teams in College Football due to their enormous fan base.
