Texas Tech

College football lines on the Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech game have hovered between Texas Tech -3 and -3 ½.  There has not been any variation in this line over the past week.  The trend has been for the line to move up a half point, however, and that is what transpired at SBG Global

The Big 12 gets the spotlight again on Saturday night as #2 Texas Tech hosts #8 Oklahoma State in a game televised on ABC.  The Red Raiders defeated Texas last week and soared in the polls and now they are #2 in the BCS standings.  They can't afford a letdown though as a very talented Oklahoma State team comes to town. "I hope it's not (difficult), but you worry," Texas Tech coach Mike Leach said. "We've done a pretty good job this year, just trying to keep everybody in perspective. Now the biggest game in history is Oklahoma State, or the history of this year, anyway."

SBG Global reports that early College Football betting has the public taking Texas Tech at Home.

The Red Raiders have the longest winning streak in the nation at 11 games and it is mainly thanks to their offense.  Graham Harrell completed 36 of 53 passes for 474 yards and two touchdowns last week in the win over Texas.  They may need a similar game out of Harrell against a Cowboys team whose only loss was at Texas 28-24. "The road's not getting any easier for us," said Harrell, "(The Texas game) was a great win for us. It was big for the program. But, at the same time, in order for it to mean anything we need to do it again."

Oklahoma State routed Iowa State 59-17 last week and their offense is not that far behind Texas Tech's.  Last year the Cowboys had 610 total yards in beating Texas Tech 49-45.

Oklahoma State has lost 11 straight games at Lubbock. Here are more College Football betting stats for Saturday's game. The Cowboys are 5-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Cowboys are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games on turf. The Cowboys are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 conference games. The Cowboys are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Cowboys are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games. The underdog is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between the two teams. The Cowboys are 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings at Texas Tech.

The Red Raiders are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The home team is 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings between the two teams.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
