Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys vs. Pittsburgh Steelers betting odds opened at Steelers -3.  The line has since moved up to -4 at some online sportsbooks.  The Cowboys were actually a +4 ½ underdog at Sportsinteraction.com, one of the few places offering this line.

Pittsburgh has dominated this decade so far going 3-0, though two of those games were won by 4 points or less.

Here is an interesting stat:  The Cowboys are 0-6-2 ATS in their last 8 games in Week 14 and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games in December.

The Steelers, meanwhile, are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games following a SU win of more than 14 points.

The Cowboys have scored at least 34 points and gained at least 400 yards in each of past two games. ... In the past three games at home, Steelers WR Hines Ward is averaging 91 receiving yards per game. ... When RB Marion Barber has at least 11 carries, the Cowboys are 26-4.

Romo is 26-9 (74.3 percent) as a starter for Dallas (8-4) while Roethlisberger is 47-19 (71.2 percent) under center for the Steelers (9-3) since his rookie season in 2004.

Gambling911.com believes that the Cowboys can cover the +4 ½ points here.

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
