Fast Track Now Possible at Belmont Stakes With Conditions Improving Fast

There were high hopes for the Belmont Stakes track condition to be upgraded from “good” to “fast” by race time.  Betting up to this point has leaned heavily towards the likes of Orb and Freedom Child, both mudders, following torrential overnight rains.  Odds will be fluctuating throughout the day so Gambling911.com suggests locking in prices early here at Bookmaker.

The weather conditions Saturday morning were favorable for a fast drying of the track with plenty of sun.

Still, if we were to offer odds on the track condition, “fast-wet” would be the favorite, and those conditions do favor Orb and Freedom Child.

Glen Kozak, the vice president of facilities and racing surfaces for the New York Racing Association, says he's "pretty confident we'll be wet-fast" by the Belmont post time of 6:36 p.m., and "if we get real lucky we'll be fast."

Let’s look at the morning odds Saturday below, all courtesy of Bookmaker, which was offering up to $2500 in FREE CASH for qualified new signups.
