Gator Bowl betting odds had Cornhuskers opened as a one-point favorite only to be listed as a 2 ½-point underdog heading into the game.  The Huskers were getting 60 percent of the betting action, though not nearly as overwhelming action as the Georgia Bulldogs were getting in the Capital One Bowl (more than 90 percent of the action was going their way).  Betting odds on the Gator Bowl were available at Sportsbook.com, offering a free cash bonus when you join today.

Two coaches will be making their bowl game debuts in the Gator Bowl, as Bo Pelini leads Nebraska against Dabo Swinney's Clemson Tigers.

Clemson finally lived up to preseason hype, winnings its final three games and finishing with a defense that was ranked 15th overall. They will be called on again against high-powered Nebraska offense that scores 36.2 PPG. The Tigers are 0-6 ATS allowing 28 or more points.

The Cornhuskers made strides to return to the past with eight wins this season. Nebraska is a ball hog on offense, holding it for over 33 minutes a game and is 15-15 ATS in bowls.
