The odds of a Triple Crown taking place in 2013 were slashed to just below 3/1 heading into Saturday’s Preakness Stakes race.  Bet the Preakness Stakes here at BetOnline and receive up to $900 in FREE WAGERS.

Orb was the EVEN odds favorite and many believe he is lacking the competition heading into this Preakness Stakes.  In fact, the next shortest odds were going to Mylute at 5/1. 

There have only been 11 Triple Crowns with the last one being in 1978.  Amazingly, there was a Triple Crown the year before and in 1973.  That was the decade of Seattle Slew, Affirmed and Secretariat.
