Gambling911.com is taking a look at the Penn State vs. Syracuse betting odds and the Wisconsin vs. Fresno betting odds. Both games have substantial action heading into Saturday.

Penn State, in particular, was especially lopsided in terms of betting action. The odds were set at an incredible -28, on the road no less.

We won't even begin to discuss this game or try to convince people to bet on such a big road fav. We don't need to since everyone seems to be already. The line hasn't moved at all.

Gambling911.com has Penn State able to beat Syracuse by 24 points. This is where we see the line should be so we're forecasting the bookmakers to make some mint on this game as the public continues to bet heavily on the inflated Penn State line. The line actually opened at 26 points.

Now looking at Wisconsin vs. Fresno betting odds we find that odds makers are trying to get more action on Fresno State (the underdog). This line was Wisconsin -2 heading into Saturday after opening around -1. We were seeing a few -2 ½'s .

This was the last game scheduled for Saturday night but the early action was quite heavy. Whether the line would be moving further throughout the day remained to be seen. We do know that 80 percent of the action was on Wisconsin during the early morning hours Saturday.

We do know this much: Wisconsin should be around a -3 to -3 ½ favorite here so we see the books potentially taking a hit as it will be too dangerous moving the line beyond -2 ½.

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
