Rousing Sermon Odds to Win the 2012 Kentucky Derby

Rousing Sermon had odds to win the 2012 Kentucky Derby at Bookmaker.eu at 38/1 immediately following his post position draw at number 7. Bookmaker, a name you have trusted since 1985, is also offering up to $2500 in FREE CASH and 8 percent back on losses to qualified customers.

As far as the draw goes, Rousing Sermon has fared pretty decent.  The number 7 spot has produced 7 winners over time.

Rousing Sermon was noted as training well over this past week.  He handled Churchill Downs well in a 5-furlong workout in 1:00.13 Tuesday.

He has yet to win a race this year, though Rousing Sermon has appeared among the top 5.

He finished 3rd at the Robert B. Lewis, 5th at the San Felipe and 3rd at the Louisiana Derby, all Grade 2 races.  Not too shabby.

"The performances haven't taken a toll on him, and he has been really good after everything we've done," trainer Jerry Hollendorfer said. "I've learned from years of taking horses to Churchill Downs that it's so important that they like that track. He definitely liked the track at Hollywood Park, and he didn't like the track at Santa Anita."
