The Boston Celtics could win the 17th NBA Championship in franchise history Tuesday and Sportingbet.com is offering basketball betting fans a chance to bet the game live.

Sportingbet.com will have Live, IN:PLAY wagering available for Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Final, allowing bettors to bet on the game while it’s in progress.

After missing chances to finish off the Lakers the past two games, the Celtics are 4-point and -200 moneyline favorites for Tuesday’s game at the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston. The over/under total is 191½. Los Angeles is a +165 moneyline underdog.

In Game 5 on Sunday, Kobe Bryant scored 25 points to help the Lakers avoid elimination with a 103-98 win over the Celtics at the Staples Center.

The Lakers overcame a 38-point performance by Boston's Paul Pierce, and trail the best-of-seven series 3-2 with Games 6 and 7, if necessary, in Boston.

Lamar Odom scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Pau Gasol had 19 points and 13 boards for the Lakers, who gave up two significant leads and looked like they might repeat their collapse in Game 4, when they led by 24 points in the first half but ended up losing 97-91.

Derek Fisher added 15 points for L.A., which is trying to become the first team to win the NBA Finals after trailing three games to one. Teams trailing 3-1 are 0-28 all-time in the Finals.

Ray Allen scored 16 points on 4-of-13 shooting, and Kevin Garnett had 13 points with a game-high 14 rebounds. The Celtics played without starting center Kendrick Perkins, who sat with a strained left shoulder.

Boston is 12-1 at home in the postseason.

The Lakers are 0-5 ATS in their past five games and 2-4-1 ATS in their past seven on the road. Boston is 5-0 ATS in its last five, and 14-5 ATS in its last 19 at home.

The game starts at 9 pm ET and can be seen on ABC.
