The 2008 Summer Olympics is in full swing and so is the betting. Plenty of options were still available on some of the more popular team and individual events courtesy of BodogLife.com

There is the Athletics - Women's 100m Hurdles - Gold Medal Winner Gold Medal Winner betting odds for starters.

LoLo Jones was expected to help boost Team USA's gold count with 2/1 odds for a payout potential to gamblers of $2 for every $1 bet at BodogLife.com

An attorney representing Lolo Jones said last month that the U.S. 100-meter hurdler was considering a race against a horse after the Olympics.

That might actually steal away some of Michael Phelps thunder, but Lolo denies the story.

"I don't know how that got started," Jones said, laughing. "Besides the fact that I did a commercial for a casino that races horses. They donated money for my family to come over to Beijing.

"How that got transformed into 'I will race a horse,' I have no clue, because I have a hard enough time with humans with two legs than to go race a horse with four."

Odds on the Women's 100m Hurdles were as follows (to win Gold):

LoLo Jones (USA) 2/1

Delloreen Ennis London (JAM) 9/2

Brigitte Foster Hylton (JAM) 9/2

Iowa State: Are They The Underdogs To Look For In March Madness?

They may be defined as “underdogs” or “Cinderella teams”, a term that is usually saved for teams that have little to no chance of winning even a single game during the NCAA Tournament. Teams like Loyola Marymount (1990), George Mason (2006), Davidson (2008), VCU (2011), UConn (2014), and Loyola Chicago (2018) come to mind when conversations turn toward the most surprising tournament runs in recent memory.
