A review of the USA vs. England World Cup betting activity by Gambling911.com suggests brisk action coming in throughout the overnight and early morning hours.

With 23 million people expected to tune in across England alone, online bookmakers the likes of Sportsbetting.com are hoping for a bit of a mini Super Bowl Saturday.

"That's not likely," says Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  "Sure people will be tuning in but not everyone will necessarily be betting on this game."

England is expected to win with -200 odds.  Those living in America are less likely to go against their national team, especially if they have to lay US$20 to win US$10.

"That sounds bad but for every $20 you bet, you profit $10 and that is not a bad deal assuming you get back your initial bet should England win," says Shapiro.

Of course there are those who suggest USA could pull off the upset.  The payout with a USA win would be US$42.50 for every US$10 bet.  British bookmakers were offering better payout odds on Team USA but those living in the States are prohibited from playing at the European online bookmakers.  The compensation, however, is that Sportsbetting.com offers much better cash bonuses than their European counterparts in most cases.

At Noon Eastern Standard Time, Gambling911.com was reporting searches coming in for the USA vs. England World Cup game at around 100 per minute.
