2022 Spreads on the NFC South Games

At one point in early March, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had 33-1 Super Bowl odds.  That was after Tom Brady announced her reitrement, then returned.   Tampa Bay are once again contenders, despite Leonard Fournette weighing in at almost 260 pounds ahead of training camp, reports Fournette called "fake news".  It's been a rollercoaster for the Bucs as far as futures odds are concerned.  Rob Gronkowski announcing his second retirement shifted odds as well.

Tampa will be the only team in any sort of contention from the NFC South, at least according to the odds.  The Bucs were coming in at around 8-1 odds to win the 2023 Super Bowl.

Super Bowl projections at SportsBetting.ag show the other three teams not even in the top half of the board. The Falcons and Panthers have the second- and fourth-worst title odds, respectively.

The Panthers are interesting in that they recently acquired Baker Mayfield from the Cleveland Browns.  Their odds of winning the Super Bowl were in the neighborhood of 125-1.  They are only favored in three regular games this season.

For the Falcons it's even worse.  Atlanta is favored to win a single game (against the Bears).

SportsBetting.ag continues to roll out weekly spreads for each team of every division. In the fourth week, we take a look at the lopsided NFC South.

Please note that Week 17 and Week 18 spreads are not available below due to uncertainty in playoff standings, playing statuses, schedules, etc.
