Gambling911.com has calculated any underlays and overlays in the 2022 Week 2 NFL lines based on the current Sagarin numbers. These do not necessarily take into account any injuries or other issues that may have impacted a team after Week 1.
This is especially true of the Cowboys and Steelers.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott exited Sunday's game against Tampa Bay with and hand injury and will now undergo surgery. He's expected to miss upwards of eight weeks.
The Cowboys went 3-for-15 on third downs. They also had a mere 71 rushing yards. Even with Prescott in the mix, Dallas looked pitiful, to put it mildly.
Pittsburgh, on the other hand, probably exceeded expectations. It wasn't pretty but they managed to win against a Bengals team that was in last season's Super Bowl. They also received some good news, if you could call it that. T.J. Watt will avoid surgery but he's out for six weeks after suffering a torn pectoral muscle.
