Odds and Ends
Thursday Night Football features the Lions vs. Chiefs and a number that has come down from -7 to -4.5 favoring Kansas City.
Action for the most part appeared to be heavy for KC at around 65% or greater on the 4.5 spread.
Kansas City sits atop of the Sagarin Ratings at 26.69. With home field advantage (2.00) we get a number of 28.69 and a line of -7.28 (Detroit is No. 12 at 21.41), representing an underlay of around 3 points.
The line change is a result of the status of both Travis Kelce (hyperextended knee) and Chris Jones (contract) being up in the air. We would note that Sagarin does not factor in injuries right away.
Some of the more lopsided action we see across the board includes:
Commanders seeing 90% or greater of the spread action versus the Cardinals as a -7 home favorite, the Eagles seeing 70% or greater of the spread action as a +2.5 dog in New England and the Ravens a -10 home favorite versus the Texans getting all the public love.
