The oddsmakers at BetOnline Sports & Casino have opened NHL point totals for the 2026-27 NHL Season.
It’s exactly one year to the day when they opened last season’s point totals.
Some notes that accompany the chart below:
- It’s an excel spreadsheet so you can personally order any category from top to bottom. I chose alphabetical.
- The first point totals column is from 7/20/25, when last year’s point total opened.
- The second point totals column is the opening lines from today 7/20/26.
- The third column is a +/- for each year-over-year.
- 20 team totals went up.
- 12 team totals went down.
- These teams improved their point totals the most:

- Sabres +12
- Ducks/Blackhawks +11
- These teams point totals decreased the most:
