5Dimes employees are being let go, as confirmed by none other than the individual who manages their Twitter account.

The new NFL season kicks off Thursday so it would appear it is this individual's last night of work Wednesday.

Companies are required to pay severance to out-of-work employees in Costa Rica.  Employees were reportedly not warned of the upcoming shutdown in two weeks.

Despite losing his job, the 5Dimes employee still insisted individuals will be refunded on future bets.
