Tennessee went into New England and stunned the New England Patriots in the Wild Card Round. The Titans were one of the hottest teams in the NFL heading into the playoffs, and they did not slow down. Tennessee finished the regular season with a record of 9-7. Baltimore had the best record in the NFL during the regular season at 14-2, and they have won 12 straight. The Ravens easily won the AFC North Division, and they are the betting favorite to win the Super Bowl. Baltimore is a -10.0 point favorite over Tennessee in this game.

Titans Need A Terrific Defensive Effort

If the Tennessee Titans are going to win this game then they are going to have to be great on the defensive side of the ball. Baltimore was the top scoring team in the NFL this season, and this is going to be a huge test. The Titans did hold Tom Brady and the New England Patriots to just 13 points in their Wild Card victory, but their run defense will be tested in this game. Tennessee allowed just 20.7 points during the regular season, and will need to be that good in this game.

Running back Derrick Henry rushed for over 180 yards in the Wild Card victory, and he was the top running back in the NFL this season. Henry gives the Titans a chance to win the time of possession battle, but quarterback Ryan Tannehill will have to be solid as well. Tannehill struggled at times in the Wild Card win, but inserting him into the starting lineup is what propelled the Titans to the playoffs.

Ravens Will Run the Football

The Baltimore Ravens averaged 206 rushing yards per game during the regular season, which was easily the best mark in the NFL. Baltimore has several talented running backs, but quarterback Lamar Jackson is the real star. Jackson will likely win the MVP this season and he threw for over 3,100 yards while running for over 1,200. The Ravens will let Jackson go out and try to make some plays to win this game.

The offense gets all of the attention with the Ravens, but their defense was terrific as well. Baltimore gave up just over 17 points per game this season, and they know how to get pressure on opposing quarterbacks. The Ravens will have to find a way to slow down Derrick Henry, but they have the talent on that side of the ball to get it done.

Titans Cover, Ravens Advance

The Tennessee Titans were not supposed to upset the New England Patriots in the Wild Card Round, but that is exactly what happened. Tennessee will be massive underdogs again this game, but they have the talent to keep this one close. Baltimore has been the best team in the NFL over the last few months, and they are going to run the ball well in this game. Tennessee simply doesn’t have enough offense to pull off this upset, but they are going to keep it close.

Take the +10.0 points and bet on the Titans in a game that is won by the Baltimore Ravens.  When betting Tennessee in this game, do so https://www.realbookies.com/  our favorite pay per head bookie site.
